A young town with old roots — and we treat it like part of the neighborhood, because it is.

A young town with old roots

Dewey-Humboldt incorporated in December 2004 — one of Arizona's youngest towns — but its two halves go back more than a century: Dewey's ranching and agriculture, Humboldt's mining. That history lives in its buildings, and older structures ask for repairs done thoughtfully.

4,800 feet, four real seasons

The Town describes itself as enjoying "a mild 4-season climate" at 4,800 feet — which also means freeze-thaw every winter. Water that gets behind failing exterior paint or an open stucco crack does its damage in February. Sealing early is cheap insurance.

Rural character, practical service

About 4,300 residents (2020 Census) chose to incorporate largely to protect the town's rural character. We serve it on its own terms — homes and businesses along the Highway 69 corridor, with the same care we bring everywhere.

Part of the regular route

Dewey-Humboldt is inside our core service area, not an outer edge we grudgingly reach. Same owner-operator, same license, same standard.

Common questions

Do you actually come out to Dewey-Humboldt?
Yes — it's part of our regular service area alongside Chino Valley, Prescott and Prescott Valley. Small jobs included.
Can you repair walls in an older Dewey or Humboldt home?
Yes. Older homes sometimes mix eras of wall construction and texture, so we assess first, then patch and blend so the repair reads as wall — not as a repair. That blending is our specialty.
Why does exterior paint seem to fail faster out here?
Elevation. At 4,800 feet the UV is stronger, monsoons drive moisture into any opening, and winter freeze-thaw pries at whatever moisture found. It's a harder life for paint and stucco than the same house would have at lower elevation — which makes prep and timing matter more.
